Justin was originally trained as an aeronautical engineer, attended MIT, and worked at NASA, but found his true calling as an entrepreneur and headed West in the dot com gold rush of the late 1990s to start a business with like-minded friends. They dreamed of success, but every version of the business they tried failed to gain traction. Then something beautiful happened – the first paying customer. The company’s new public sector product rapidly gained traction with governments across the country, with accelerating revenues qualifying it for a place on the Inc5000 list in 2013.
Due to his experience with B2Gnow, Justin is a big believer in “enterprise” and loves to trash-talk the consumer space. He views education and mentoring as important building blocks of business success, supporting Phoenix technology entrepreneurs by co-coordinating StartupWeekend events at Co-Hoots and Thunderbird School.
